Teachers are being called on to be a facilitator more and more.  Literature circles, science and math talks, inquiry, project based learning and social emotional learning all require facilitation skills, but few programs teach these skills in a comprehensive way.

Whole Planet Consulting has been training faciitators for ten years.  In recent years, we've been researching facilitation and teacher competencies to create a program that merges the strengths of teaching and the skills of facilitation.

Leave this summer institute with ways to use the academic methods you already know, along with evidence based strategies, to facilitate academic learning and create a positive social climate in your classroom.  Enter the school year with the tools to address the needs of your students with confidence and joy.
